Why Lumera? The name that carries light, intention, and elegance

After sharing the origin of crochet in my life — how it emerged as shelter, therapy, and a form of expression — I felt it was time to speak about something equally important:

The name that embraces all of this.

That is how Lumera was born.

Lumera comes from the word lumen, which means light.

But not just any light —the kind that illuminates without dazzling,that warms, guides, and brings clarity.

It is the light that appears in silence.The light that emerges when the mind slows down.The light that is built little by little, with intention.

Just like crochet.

Each piece created carries more than yarn, texture, or technique.

It carries time, presence, and care.
